Rebuilding Together’s mission is to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners. Central to that mission is serving the elderly, the disabled, veterans and families with children.

The organization is known for its annual signature event, National Rebuilding Day. This event occurs on the last Saturday of April and is the culmination of a year of planning, evaluating, and organizing, as well as the assembling of hundreds of volunteers from all walks of life to repair and restore houses and make a lasting impression on those families and individuals who are helped.
